User Data Deletion

At MuscleMap, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. This page explains what data we can delete and how to submit a request.

What Data Can Be Deleted

Upon your request, we can delete:

• Your MuscleMap account and profile information
• Session data and fitness measurements
• Instagram messages and conversation history stored on our servers
• Any other personal information we have collected from you

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your data, send an email to:

Please include the following in your email:

• Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
• Your Instagram username (if you contacted us via Instagram)
• Your email address (if you have a MuscleMap account)
• Any other identifying information that helps us locate your data

What Happens Next

Once we receive your request:

1. We will verify your identity to protect your privacy
2. We will locate and delete your data from our systems
3. We will confirm deletion via email

Timeframe: We will process your request within 7 business days.

Important Notes

• Some data may be retained briefly for legal, security, or fraud prevention purposes, even after a deletion request. This data will be deleted as soon as the retention period ends.
• Data that has already been anonymized or aggregated (not linked to you) cannot be deleted.
• Deletion from our systems does not affect data held by third parties (like Instagram/Meta). To delete data from Instagram, use Instagram's privacy settings.
